SHEPHERD Foundation

Bringing Rare Cancer Patients Together in a Unified Effort

“Nobody is running 5Ks or giving out pink ribbons for rare cancer.”
–Dr. Eric Jensen, a 44-year-Surgical Oncologist, as told to Sport Illustrated

270 million CANCER DIAGNOSES IN AN AVERAGE LIFETIME. 127 million OF THOSE WILL BE RARE

RARE CANCER IS NOT RARE

We will all be affected by rare cancer. The SHEPHERD Foundation exists to bring all rare cancer patients together in the the fight to insure no disease goes untreated and no patient is left to die.

All of us at SHEPHERD mourn the loss of spokesperson and fellow ACC patient Gabriele Grunewald. Gabe lived every moment of her life with a rage to live and a desire to help as many rare cancer patients as possible. We continue to fight in her honor while remembering every life lost to cancer. Gabe, you are deeply missed and forever remembered.

SHEPHERD has committed to donating 10% of all profits to:
  • FUND
    research and
    understanding
    for every form
    of rare cancer

  • INVEST in
    medicines for
    rare cancer
    patients
    neglected by
    other companies

  • BUILD disease-specific
    foundations for
    every form of
    rare cancer

WE WILL NOT GO DOWN
WITHOUT A FIGHT
