Position: Research Associate

Location: Cambridge, MA

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Utilization of molecular biology and cell biology to support a research program focused on therapeutics for rare cancers.
Perform in vitro techniques such as tissue culture, microscopy, fluorescence imaging, PCR, qPCR, and Western blotting to characterize and validate lead 
drug candidates.
Report to Chief Research Officer and collaborate as part of the science team. 
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Design experiments with guidance as well as independently, and carry out 
studies independently.
Analyze results as well as design follow-up experiments with guidance.

Bachelor of Science degree with 1-2 years of experience with tissue culture, PCR, qPCR and Western blotting required.
Experience with flow cytometry highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
